All information about the collection system is brought together within ICOM3 DSS.  This includes physical characteristics, geography and mapping, hydraulic characteristics and inspection information describing the observed condition of the assets as well as imagery and video of the conditions themselves.  ICOM3-DSS turns disparate data sources into a powerful information base.

Configurable to Meet Current and Future Demands

Built on an advanced, dynamic architecture, ICOM3-DSS is highly configurable to meet the unique requirements of each collection system.  Proprietary technologies such as the Adaptive Database FrameworkT and Dynamic Query Engine allow quick and easy configuration with a set of backend tools called the ICOM3 Toolkit.

The modular, layered design of this architecture allows for extensible functionality.  ICOM3-DSS can be deployed with a configurable set of "Add-in Modules" to meet the specific functionality needs of each client.  As the client's needs change and grow, modules can be added to extend the functionality of the tool into the future. 

Add-in modules also enable ICOM3-DSS to be configured to interface with existing data systems.  This makes it possible for ICOM3-DSS to run alongside existing asset management systems and other data sources, providing the layer of comprehensive analysis and decision support that is necessary to facilitate proactive management.

Intelligent Maintenance Scheduling

Taking into account factors such as geography and hydraulic characteristics of assets, ICOM3-DSS is able to employ a more intelligent approach to maintenance scheduling.  By confining each month's work to a common geographic region of the system, significant increases in productivity can be achieved, freeing up resources to enable proactive maintenance without additional personnel.

Capital Improvements Forecasting

By analyzing physical, condition and hydraulic aspects of the collection system, it is possible to forecast the capital improvements that will be required to maintain a specific level of performance and reliability into the future.  This allows the collection system owner to proactively plan budgets for the needs of the system and ensure that it operates at the targeted level of service.

Capital Improvements Planning

ICOM3-DSS employs a copyrighted technique of rating and ranking the condition of assets in the system called the Damage Severity IndexT.  By comparing the relative condition of assets along with their hydraulic characteristics, a ranking is compiled indicating which are at the highest risk of failure.  Annualized cost analysis can then be performed on each asset and a recommendation is made by ICOM3 DSS on which course of corrective action makes the most economic sense

Configurable Dynamic Reporting

ICOM3-DSS incorporates an advanced reporting engine that enables you to produce the graphs, charts and reports you need to ensure that you are effectively working towards your performance goals. The reports are highly configurable and additional reports can be added dynamically.

Information Available to those Who Need It

ICOM3-DSS is a true multi-user system enabling any number of simultaneous users to be logged in using the tools. Due to its advanced architecture, these users can even be in different geographic locations since ICOM3-DSS can be deployed over the internet. Giving access to information and mapping to the people who need it, when they need it can greatly streamline your workflow.

Multiple Deployment Options

Because of ICOM3-DSS' advanced architechture, it can be deployed in a number of ways. Installed locally at your site, ICOM3-DSS will run over your internal network. Another option available is to host the entire application in ICOMMM's fully managed data center, in which case ICOM3-DSS will run securely over the internet. ICOMMM offers a number of configurations for this service and will work with you to tailor the deployment solution that best fits your needs.
